	In 1981, Norm and Judy were asked to put on a miniature show at the Sarasota County Fair. The show was a huge success and turned out to be the first mini horse show in Florida. Although the show had only 23 miniatures from nine farms, by 1998, over 150 horses attended and the fair was unable to accommodate all of these horses.
In 1984, Florida State Fair asked the Middletons to put on a show for them. Around 50 horses attended that first one day show, which today has turned into a four day show (two days A.M.H.R., two days A.M.H.A.) with about 200 horses attending.
